My name is Anka, and I live in Rijen with my husband and five daughters.

I experienced a significant period of imbalance at a young age. From a child who was overweight, eczema, chronic stomach and back pain to a teenager with depression and ... anorexia.

Years ago, I already knew that there had to be other ways to resolve imbalance in the brain & body. At one point, my patience ran out, and I delved into books. A whole new world opened up to me!

I didn't choose anorexia. But it was a lifeline and a survival mechanism for both my gut and brain. And it was precisely this lifeline that I came to understand. I don't have anorexia, I wasn't Anka with anorexia, but I was doing anorexia 😊.

I pursued various (well, quite a lot 😊) of courses and training programs. From there, I started my own practice as an orthomolecular brain & gut therapist. Later, after years, all the puzzle pieces fell into place. I finally understood why a body would react to stress in such a way. For example, in my case, it was due to endorphin resistance (quickly forget the word, though), which caused many other facets to collapse. Along with a poor gut, a fixed mindset, some stuff from the past, and hormones completely out of balance, my stress system & body reacted totally wrong. Okay, not interesting for now, but it has become my passion, and I am happy to help many other people and especially to explain how systems work.

And I was so incredibly proud when Isabelle asked me to be part of Isa Power! With all my heart, I want to help you! Because you are so worth it!

I always say: 'I can help you, but you must, no, you may, do it!'. The unknown is very scary, I know all about it, but by stepping out of your comfort zone, you'll get further! Easy? No! Possible? Absolutely!

You'll encounter yourself in every aspect. But if you do what you're allowed to do, it will work! You're allowed to walk the path. And even though there are bumps along the way: we're heading towards the destination. And me? I'll walk a long way with you!
